ADSS Fiber Optic Cable (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting Cable) is a non-metallic aerial optical cable designed for self-supporting installation in power transmission and telecom communication networks. With a fully dielectric structure, ADSS cable offers excellent insulation, strong tensile performance and superior resistance to electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for installation along high-voltage power lines and long-span aerial routes.
Unlike metallic aerial cables, ADSS optical cable does not require grounding and can be safely deployed in areas with strong electric field interference. It is widely used in power utility networks, telecom backbone lines, substation communication systems and rural aerial fiber transmission projects.
