Cable Structure
GYTC8S optical cable adopts a figure-8 stranded self-supporting design. Optical fibers are placed in jelly-filled PBT loose tubes, which are stranded around a central strength member and filled with water-blocking compound. An integrated stranded steel messenger wire is connected to the cable body for aerial suspension. The cable is protected by a durable PE outer sheath for long-term outdoor performance.
This figure-8 stranded structure provides excellent tensile strength, higher fiber density and reliable outdoor aerial performance.
