Connector Gender: Male vs Female

MTP connector gender is defined by guide pin structure:

Male: with guide pins

Female: without guide pins

Correct gender matching is essential for proper connection.

Male to Female = correct

Male to Male = cannot connect

Female to Female = unstable alignment

HUALUE provides both Male and Female MTP connectors to ensure compatibility with transceivers, cassettes, and structured cabling systems.

Polarity Options

Proper polarity ensures the transmit (Tx) signal reaches the receive (Rx) side correctly.

Type A (Straight)

Fiber 1 to Fiber 1, Fiber 2 to Fiber 2

Used for backbone trunk systems and cassette-based structured cabling.

Type B (Reversed)
